On coverage, the picture is uneven. Insurers have a 12-month compliance window, but Capital B surveyed 30 major plans and found nine already cover screening at 40 with no cost sharing per Capital B. The rest are using the window.
What to do this month: check whether your plan is one of the nine. If it is, book the appointment. If it is not, ask your provider to document medical necessity, which is the path that gets most early screenings approved before the deadline.
